About the Role
You will play a key role in producing and updating detailed construction documentation and as-built drawings. You will work closely with the Design Manager, Senior Drafter, BIM Manager, and broader project teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and update 2D & 3D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Interpret structural, civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings
- Prepare accurate as-built documentation based on construction redlines
- Produce supporting project documentation as required
- Manage and maintain document revisions and SharePoint folders
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors regarding submissions and technical queries
- Support project coordination across Construction, Commercial, Procurement, and PM teams
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Proven drafting experience within Construction, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, or Engineering environments
- Demonstrated experience producing construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation
- Technical drafting background
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor-level studies in Drafting, Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of Australian Standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify documentation errors
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive hourly rate: $45–$48 per hour
