Connect People have an opportunity for an experienced Storeperson looking to work Monday to Friday based in Derrimut. ASAP Start!

This is a 38 hour a week role, paying $35.44 per hour. Our client is currently after someone looking for short-term employment, potential for that to turn into long-term employment for the right candidate.

We are after applicants who have experience with high reach forklifts. 80% Pick-Packing, 20% Forklift.

Roster: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Loading/unloading of goods
• Mainly Pick-Packing with some Forklift driving when necessary
• Checking goods received against purchase orders
• Moving/Put away of goods
• Picking goods from shelves and pallet bays
• Packing and sending orders to customers
• Moving heavy pallets and fibre cable drums using a forklift
• Ensuring store and dock area is always kept clean & tidy
• Assist in stock takes.

Requirements:

• High reach forklift experience essential
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs
• Previous experience in RF scanning
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Professional attitude
• Pick packing experience is essential
