Upholding our employees’ health, safety and welfare is of the utmost importance

A key focus of our Safety Management Strategy is to align ourselves with like-minded clients that have a positive, proactive attitude towards the safety and wellbeing of both their own team members and Connect People’s employees.

Connect People – through its commitment to the health and safety of employees, subcontractors, clients and the public – is constantly improving the process of monitoring Health & Safety.

Induction

Our company induction provides all employees with a solid grounding of safe working and awareness prior to commencing their assignment.

As part of our induction, employees receive a copy of Connect People’s Workplace Policy booklet which includes;

  • OH & S
  • All company employees policies
  • RTW important information
  • Company’s Code of Ethics
  • Employee Rehabilitation Program

Proactive Safety Approach

We utilise state-of-the-art technology to promote a safety culture within our business. We treat safety as an ongoing and important workplace priority.

With a dedicated safety team member, a safety alert system, and ongoing safety and welfare checks, we take a proactive approach to guaranteeing the safety of our workers. We also regularly engage in Toolbox Talks to create a culture of best-practice around safety.

Safety Management

In the event of an employee injury we take steps to ensure further incidents are avoided, all necessary documentation is complete, and assist through the entire process.

Connect People is committed to the rehabilitation of employees who have suffered an injury or illness related to their work. This commitment to rehabilitation is achieved by our “Employee Rehabilitation Program.”

Employees are also required to assist and abide by any site or client requirements with regards to Health & Safety policies, rules and regulations.
