Connect People is proud to confirm our appointment as a supplier of labour hire to the Bayswater Level Crossing Removal Project (Bayswater LCRP). We are very pleased to be working with the project consortium comprising Laing O’Rourke, Fulton Hogan and AECOM, in an alliance with Public Transport Victoria, Metro Trains Melbourne and VicRoads.
The Bayswater LCRP includes:
Lowering the rail line below Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road
Raising Mountain Highway at the point of the crossing
Rebuilding Bayswater Station
Platforms accessed via lifts, ramps and stairs
Reconstructing the station car park, optimising parking and providing the same number of spaces
Building a walking and cycling path.
The Level Crossing Removal Authority will oversee the project, along with all level crossing removals across Melbourne, to ensure a coordinated and efficient program of delivery.

Preliminary work has already begun on the project (located at the intersection of Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road in Bayswater) with the project scheduled for completion in late 2017.
