We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join a major infrastructure project in remote Western Australia, supporting one of the world’s most advanced scientific initiatives.
The Project: 


The SKA-Low Project is part of the Square Kilometre Array initiative, which aims to build the world’s largest radio telescope in Western Australia. The project will deploy over 130,000 low-frequency antennas to explore the early Universe and detect faint cosmic signals.
The Central Processing Facility (CPF) is a critical infrastructure component of the SKA-Low array, housing essential systems and equipment that support data processing and operational functions.

About the Role Working on a FIFO 2:1 roster, you will be based onsite at a remote camp (24/7 operations), approximately 400km from Geraldton. This role is critical in supporting project close-out activities and ensuring all quality documentation and compliance requirements are met.
  • 2:1 Roster, 6am-6pm, 12hr days with 2 weeks on and 1 week off.
  • FIFO Arrangement: Paid flights from either Geraldton or Jandakot
  • Accommodation & Meals: onsite accommodation/camp will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage quality records including ITPs, checklists, test results, and NCRs
  • Support site inspections alongside engineers and subcontractors
  • Raise, track, and close out NCRs ensuring corrective actions are completed
  • Review subcontractor QA documentation and monitor compliance
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and adherence to ISO-aligned quality systems
  • Compile commissioning and handover quality documentation packs
Mandatory Requirements:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in engineering/QA roles (preferably Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical)
  • Strong background in construction QA/QC on large-scale projects
  • Experience with ITPs, NCRs, inspections, and QA documentation
  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
Preferred:
  • FIFO or remote site experience
  • Exposure to audits and structured quality systems
