About the role:
- Play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming aquatic and fitness environment for all patrons
- Support both pool and gym operations while promoting a strong culture of safety and compliance
- Act as a frontline representative of the facility, delivering excellent customer service and guidance
Details:
- Hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00 (experience dependant) + super
- Shift times 6am - 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 9pm
- Between 1 and 5 shifts a week
- Located Stony Point, Victoria
What your day-to-day will look like
- Actively supervise pool users to ensure safety and respond to incidents when required
- Maintain cleanliness of pool and gym areas, including equipment upkeep and class setup (e.g., lane ropes)
- Assist patrons with facility access, inductions, and provide clear direction on rules and safe usage
Requirements:
- Current Pool Lifeguard Qualification and First Aid certification, with a valid Working With Children Check and ability to obtain a National Police Check
- Flexible and available to work across a varying roster, with the ability to work independently and consistently follow procedures
- Strong communication skills and situational awareness, with a professional, reliable, and team-focused approach to engaging with patrons and staff
