On behalf of our well-regarded client, Connect People are on the lookout for a qualified and eager Lifeguard to join the team in Stony Point on a casual basis. The amount of hours worked will vary on a week to week basis, so the successful candidate must be able to be flexible with this.
 
About the role:
 
  • Play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming aquatic and fitness environment for all patrons
  • Support both pool and gym operations while promoting a strong culture of safety and compliance
  • Act as a frontline representative of the facility, delivering excellent customer service and guidance
 
Details:

  • Hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00 (experience dependant) + super
  • Shift times 6am - 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 9pm
  • Between 1 and 5 shifts a week
  • Located Stony Point, Victoria
 
 
What your day-to-day will look like
 
  • Actively supervise pool users to ensure safety and respond to incidents when required
  • Maintain cleanliness of pool and gym areas, including equipment upkeep and class setup (e.g., lane ropes)
  • Assist patrons with facility access, inductions, and provide clear direction on rules and safe usage
 
Requirements:
 
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Qualification and First Aid certification, with a valid Working With Children Check and ability to obtain a National Police Check
  • Flexible and available to work across a varying roster, with the ability to work independently and consistently follow procedures
  • Strong communication skills and situational awareness, with a professional, reliable, and team-focused approach to engaging with patrons and staff
  • Australian Citizenship
