Connect People is after an experienced Grounds Person for an immediate start on a secure site based in Laverton, with occasional travel to the nearby Point Cook base.

What's in it for you:
  • $34.76 per hour
  • Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm (8 hour days)
  • Initial contract to late October 2026 with strong potential for ongoing work
  • Company vehicle provided for on-site and inter-base travel
  • Work outdoors as part of a solid team
What you'll be doing:
  • Brush cutting and hedging
  • Mowing and hand weeding
  • Branch removal
  • General grounds maintenance to keep the site safe and looking sharp
What you need:
  • Previous experience in brush cutting and hedging
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Australian Citizenship (mandatory for base access and clearance)
  • Willing to undergo background checks
  • Reliable self-starter, comfortable with an early start
  • Mower experience preferred but not essential
