Our client is a well-established civil infrastructure contractor delivering road and maintenance projects across Australia.
This role will see you leading crews across a variety of civil construction and road maintenance activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading civil crews, a strong understanding of road construction and maintenance works, and the ability to interpret construction drawings, manage site quality requirements and utilise app-based software on site.
About the role:
- Full-time casual hours – Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
- Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate
- Company vehicle provided
- Occasional night works and weekend works available
Key responsibilities:
- Leading civil construction crews on site
- Recording and completing daily construction activities
- Managing site quality assurance requirements
- Interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinating works with supervisors and engineers
- Ensuring safety and compliance on site
Desired qualifications, tickets and experience:
- Previous Civil Leading Hand experience
- Road construction and maintenance experience
- TMR experience highly desirable
- Stabilisation experience highly desirable
- Competent using app-based software such as Dashpivot, SiteMate or AssetVision
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction desirable
- Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) desirable
